Tandem KDH vs. Smer-SD sa stáva v predvolebnom období coraz tradicnejšou súcastou televíznych diskusií. Pavol Abrhan, ktorý zaskakoval za ministra Fígela, sa opät stretol s Marekom Madaricom. Rec bola o európskom summite a schválenom rozpocte. Dialnice sa opät stali ohniskom miernej konfrontácie medzi oboma stranami. Politici sa, na základe nášho hodnotenia, triafali vo svojich faktických tvrdeniach do celej škály pravda-nepravda-zavádzanie-neoveritelné.

Došlo k zásadným posunom v otázke prijatia automatických sankcií pri porušení dohodnutého deficitu, došlo k dohode o sprísnenej kontrole rozpočtov. (na poslednom summite EÚ pozn.)
M. Maďarič hovorí pravdu, spomínané zmeny boli skutočne prijaté. Oficiálny dokument schválený na samite 9. decembra v Bruseli hovorí o automatických sankciách (bod 5.) v prípade porušenie dohodnutej výšky deficitu (hranicu 3 percent HDP).

Taktiež sa hovorí aj o posilnení resp. sprísnení kontroly (bod 4 a 6) rozpočtov krajín EÚ.
